The Woodson Center exists to empower community-based leaders to drive solutions that reduce crime and violence, strengthen families, revitalize underserved neighborhoods, and create pathways for economic opportunity.

For many years, the late Mr. Bob Woodson, founder of the Woodson Center, was a steadfast supporter of People for People, Inc. and Frederick Douglass Christian School. His commitment to strengthening families, empowering communities, and creating opportunities for future generations was deeply aligned with our mission.

Today, the Woodson Center continues that legacy of support, helping us advance our important work with students and families across North Central Philadelphia and the City of Chester, Pennsylvania. We are deeply grateful for this longstanding partnership and for the Woodson Center’s continued belief in our mission.
