Information for Parents

We are committed to building a challenging yet nurturing learning environment which promotes inquisitiveness, creativity and confidence! We are simply committed to the overall success of your child! Additionally, we are in partnership with you. As we partner with families in the educational process, our students reap the rewards!

Some of the ways that we encourage parental involvement is to request that parents read to their children daily and help with occasional at-home work. We also encourage families to come out, to participate in and to support their child in special school events, fundraisers, holiday shows, graduation ceremonies, field trips and book fairs, to name a few!

And finally, we welcome parental participation as classroom volunteers. Studies have shown that students whose parents become actively involved in school-wide events perform considerably better than students whose parents do not.
